1064nm module covers current blue diodes' shortcomings. Good at engraving metals: aluminum (bare, anodized or painted), brass, silver, gold (not tested) and stainless steel;
Good at engraving plastics: ABS, polycarbonate of all colors, and clear PC. As well as PE and HDPE with darker colors;
0.06x0.06mm spot size. Produces great detail;
Has red dot integrated to help with workpiece positioning and framing;
Not good at engraving: white PE or HDPE, most acrylics. Has no effect on glass. Not good at producing colors on stainless;
Has the same beam position as other Mk2 modules. No need to change settings in LightBurn;
Shares the same wiring connection, mechanical mounting points and power adapter as other Mk2 modules. No power supply included;
Includes air assist holder bracket;
Includes small LightBurn settings library;
The Mk2 enclosure does not filter 1064nm laser. Invisible lasers can still be dangerous. Please wear safety glasses!
